I am gobsmacked that the man who holds the seat of the Presidency of this country is so out of his mind that he posted the above statement. I had to see it for myself, as it has reached the bar of true lunacy. Not only does he disregard any diplomacy, but his blasphemy codifies his lack of understanding. If he spoke Arabic, he would know that his closing phrase is a praise of G-D — but given that he is threatening and then praising in the same breath, the Emperor with no clothes is revealed, rattling around, losing his mind. Anyone in this country who dares to call out the King prancing about is then relegated to being a leftist loon. Yet those who let the King pass are not even jesters of the court, but scullions — court pets.
And yet, who calls out Trump? Iran. Trump says he will bomb them back to the Stone Age — but hold up, Bucky. This is a state within a culture. To be clear: I do not support nuclear war. I do not support the killing of innocent children or innocent civilians — and yet I feel that I need to say that out loud. Iranian culture is extremely ancient, with early agricultural settlements in the region dating back to the 11th millennium BC, and organized civilization flourishing for over 5,000 years.
We have been around for nearly 250 years. Let that sink in. It is a child who finally calls out what no one else dares: The Emperor has no clothes. And how are Christians called to come to their God — as a child. This is on us.
